The Araluen Estate Progress Association (AEPA) was formed at a meeting of residents and landowners in July 1999 with the purpose of addressing issues of concern to the estate and community in general.
A questionnaire was circulated to seek the major issues of residents at that time. The respondents confirmed that road safety was the single biggest issue of concern at that time, as it continues to be today. There have been a number of committees during the period the Association has been in existence and they have dealt with many issues.
All Committees have been urging the City of Armadale Council to commence development of a second access road to the estate. The current Committee are continuing to pursue that outcome.
Today's Committee is also listening to the residents and seeking how to make this very beautiful part of the world even better. This new web site has been designed to allow the dissemination of information in an electronic format as well as the printed Newsletter, which will continue to be delivered to homes.
The Committee meets on a regular basis to discuss issues and topics of the day. We welcome and encourage all residents to become involved with the Association. The Committee is formed by residents who give of their time and energy to progress the need and concerns of their neighbours.
We invite you to become involved.
